About Redmond Region Orchestra Boosters

The Redmond Region Orchestra Boosters was established in 2008 with the mission of providing support to the school orchestra programs within the Redmond Region of the Lake Washington School District. Our primary focus centers on nurturing the orchestras at Redmond Middle School, Timberline Middle School, and Redmond High School.

We maintain a close partnership with the dedicated orchestra directors at these institutions, actively engaging in various activities such as fundraising, chaperoning, outreach initiatives, special events, and communications to foster the growth and development of the orchestra programs.

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we proudly uphold the status that allows all donations to be tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Additionally, we participate in employer matching programs, further amplifying the impact of contributions. You can access our donation and sponsor form [here](link to the form).

It's important to note that all parents of orchestra students at the three schools automatically become members of the Orchestra Boosters. They have the opportunity to actively engage in our activities as volunteers or potentially serve as officers. Whether you're interested in learning more about our orchestras, volunteering your time, making a donation, or simply staying informed, please don't hesitate to reach out. We welcome volunteers with varying availability, whether it's a little or a lot.

Our monthly meetings take place on the second Monday of each month during the school year at 7:00 PM in the RHS Orchestra Room (please refer to our Calendars for specific dates). For additional information, feel free to contact us directly.

Jaelyn Arredondo

Jaelyn is a senior at RHS and is so excited for her second year on the board! She has been involved in Mustang Strings, Chamber, and Philharmonic and can’t wait for another great year with the new board. As president she hopes to improve the orchestra community and continue to grow the program through events and fundraisers. She is so excited to work with everyone in the fall!

RHS Orchestra Vice President :
Angad Arora

Angad, currently a junior at RHS, serves as our Vice President. His musical journey began back in fourth grade when he picked up the violin, and just last year, he made a remarkable switch to playing the bass. In his second year on the board, Angad is enthusiastic about contributing to the continued growth of the orchestra program. He's eager to leverage his skills and passion to create an exciting and engaging community within the orchestra.

RHS Orchestra Secretary :
Chia Grisaffi

Lucia (Chia) is a senior at Redmond High School and has participated in Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra. She works as Mrs. Gates' TA in Freshman Orchestra and wants to continue down the path or music education in the future. She also works in the Choir and Drama departments and would like to work toward a productive, professional, and positive Performing Arts Department as your secretary on this year's Orchestra Student Board.

RHS Orchestra Treasurer :
Leo Wang

Leo is a rising junior at RHS and is serving as RHS Orchestra's Treasurer for the 2023-2024 school year. He has been playing the viola since fourth grade, and is very excited to give back to the orchestra program, which has granted him a multitude of opportunities over the past two years. He is looking forward to planning and carrying out interesting fundraising ideas this coming fall.

RHS Orchestra Equipment Manager Kenneth Hashimoto

Kenneth is a sophomore and will join the Chamber Orchestra for the 2023-2024 school year. He is the future Equipment Manager and is looking forward to working with the orchestra department to help spread RHS’s music (by keeping the instruments in great condition, of course). He also will be working with the future freshmen in ensuring that all their equipment is perfect for concert days, and will be working backstage to ensure a smooth concert.

RHS Orchestra Content Creator
Aryan Karani

Aryan is a senior at RHS and will join the Chamber Orchestra next year. He holds the 2023-2024 PR Content Creator position and 10pes to use his skills to spread the RHS Orchestra's music throughout the community (and maybe the world!). His experience includes extensive knowledge of cameras, running two YouTube channels, and filming a promotional video for the Philharmonic Orchestra this year. He's excited to work with the board and create content for the orchestra.

RHS Orchestra Social Media Manager
Sophia Hsu

Sophia is a sophomore and will

be playing viola in the RHS Chamber Orchestra. After serving as a freshmen rep last year, she's super excited to take on the role of social media manager. She is so hyped to share about all the incredible events planned (in insta posts, like this one!), and hopes that you will look forward to them

too! She is determined to make everyone's experience in orchestra this year super fun going forward!.
